GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT
The product with the trade name MEDOLIVA PLUS is produced according to a process developed by the Research and Development department of POLYHEALTH, without the use of organic solvents but only drinking water and applies environmentally friendly technology, having adopted the EU directive concerning the Principle of Total Discharge.The product is initially produced in liquid form as a concentrate of aqueous extract of the olive fruit, mixed with a citrus extract containing additional phenols, flavonoids, organic acids or salts and with the help of lyophilization it is converted into a powder (after being encapsulated in a suitable carrier), which is stable and safe without the need for any added preservative.
The product has application in foods and cosmetics as a flavor and aroma enhancer. At the same time, it improves the preservation of the products to which it is added.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION MEDOLIVA PLUS.
MEDOLIVA PLUS is a combined olive and citrus extract rich in polyphenols, flavonoids, organic acids or salts and encapsulated in maltodextrin (corn or rice) or alternatively another edible encapsulation carrier (such as lecithin), through lyophilization. For its extraction and drying, only pure water is used without the use of chemical solvents. The product contains, among others, flavonoids, organic acids, hydroxytyrosol, tyrosol, caffeic acid, p-coumaric acid, anthocyanins, catechins, olive and citrus polysaccharides, salts, maltodextrin. The encapsulation of the product by lyophilization provides an improvement in taste and color, resistance to high temperatures, and gradual release of flavor-aromatic substances and other functional substances, which improve the organoleptic characteristics and quality of the products to which it is added.
