Medoliva PLUS is a natural extract of olive fruit polyphenols and citrus/lemon fruit juice and extracts encapsulated in maltodextrin or other similar food-grade carrier, via freeze-drying. Only pure water and no heating is used for its extraction and drying, so it is a totally green process without use of chemical solvents, which ensures optimal bio functionality and high antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. The product contains natural hydrotyrosol, tyrosol, caffeic acid, p-coumaric acid, anthocyanes, catechins and natural antioxidant olive and citrus/lemon fruit polysaccharides. The micro encapsulation of the freeze-dried product provides significant flavor and color reduction, resistance to high temperature, and gradual release of polyphenols.

APPLICATION- ACTIVITY

It prevents the growth of bacteria, yeasts and molds, can replace synthetic preservatives (sorbic acid, benzoic acid) and prevents lipid and color oxidation
It can be used in salads like humus and spreadable salads, in tzatziki, in mayonnaise, in vegan food replacing all the ascorbic and synthetic preservatives giving a rich taste.
